Four observation windows show brief moments in the lives of insects in their habitat. Out of small everyday gestures arises busy and untiring activity: a moth flutters around an incandescent light, a caterpillar advances with determination, a wasp painstakingly builds its nest, flies buzz about and congregate around a jellyfish washed up on the beach.
